Default What Is the Medical Term For Nasal Passage Inflammation?

For those of us who have to use afrin every night to breathe, what is the medical term, or is there a medical term to describe the condition or whatever that causes our tiny little piece of nasal passage inside to swell up and block?

thank you

I don't have any dripping or any mucus problem. The passage just closes up at night. other than that, no other symptoms. I assume its just a tiny piece of tissue that swells up a little bit....just enough to block my breathing and drive me absolutely crazy.
