but it sounds great, and my wife found some coupons for it. They sell it at HEB and whole foods....

I'm buying some and trying it.

It is not homeopathic, its herbal. May work. Give it a try.

alright....I went to HEB...I could not find the sinupret, but they had Borion Coldcalm, so i tried that instead. It is homeopathic

It didn't do much. Actually, it didn't do anything. He's gotten a little worse. Now he's actually coughing too.

EDIT: plus a low fever too....

To be fair, I didn't follow the dosage. it says 1 dose is 2 tablets, but I only gave him 1 tablet for each dose. Then again, he's 3 years old.

Why does it have the same dosage for a 3 yo and a full grown adult? Surely these two beings should take different doses?

I have never had much luck with homeoapthapthic combo remedies for colds either... I have always had to go for the "one right remedy"

The dosage does not matter... one tablet or 10, it would be the same. thats the nature of homeopathy

the boiron coldcalm has great reviews on amazon, as does all their products. I guess if i ever get the cold, I'll try it on me.

I'm not giving up on boiron, though.

Borion makes great homeoapthic products... this issue is in their combo remedies, is the correct remedy in it.?. combos works sometimes, often they don't

I'm dealing with a week long sinus gunk mess - rare for me - looking for sinupret, but found only coldcalm available in my local stores. I followed the directions exactly and it DID help slow the mucous production, so I could get thru choir practice last night (I play keyboard, would not have been able to SING) witihout having to snort/unload my head. It contains different herbs than sinupret, so would appreciate a comparison from someone out there?

Well, at least it helped out somebody. I didn't do anything for me, my son, or my brother.

Different stuff helps different people. I'm not giving up on homeopathy, I'm just re-adjusting my expectations. The boiron cough syrup (honey based and tastes awesome compared to crappy fake cherry cough syrup) worked incredibly well for my son.

Homeopathic remedies are very delicate. There are many things that can cancel out their effects. Something as simple as touching the pills with your hand can do it. Coffee, many different things. The combo remedies can really help. their is a great deal of controversy in regards to the combo remedies. I would say it is hard to beat the olive leaf extract oil, it is sold at whole foods.
