Does anyone know of a source to contact to get rid of catalogs or other unwanted snail mail ads, etc to be stopped?
www.greendimes.com was suggested on a Care2 article/discussion but I can't get that one to work.
Some days, most days in fact, almost my entire garbage for the day is junk mail!
Any suggestions appreciated!

As far as catalogs or brochures, I always thought you could contact the company via their 800# or online customer service and ask them to remove you from their mailing list. Don't know if this helps, but here's a page on the subject.

No clue on the junk mail deal, but I feel for you. About half the mail I get is junk mail.

Most days it's the ONLY mail I get - so many catalogs. I have written to a few asking to be taken off their lists
there always new ones.

I don't like it when my mailbox is empty. It makes me feel that I'm unwanted, that everyone went to a party and forgot to invite me, that I've stepped off the end of the world. Junk mail is good, if it is the only mail.

Now, email spam is quite different. It is hard to believe that there are so many people still falling for that. If no one responded there would be no spam. There must be millions wanting to "enhance" their anatomy or still having trouble in the bedroom.
