Default Antioxidants, Chemotherapy and Radiation

"The authors cite 280 peer-reviewed studies, including 50 human studies enrolling a total of 8,521 patients. All of these studies indicate that non-prescription antioxidants and other vitamin supplements do not interfere with chemotherapy or radiation therapy. In addition, some supplements may actually increase patient survival rates, and 47 out of the 50 human studies indicate that nutrient supplements decrease the severe adverse effects associated with chemotherapy and radiation therapy."
