Arrow Is CLO2 a free Radical?

In an afford in discussing MMS with medical doctors, they are saying that because this mineral acts "as a Free Radical in the body,
it is harmful to the body, or it is the last resort to dying when all other chemical treatments fail."

I am an everyday user of MMS, I drink the solution, I inhale the solution, I mix it with DMSO and use it for my teeth and gum. According to Medical Doctors and pharmacist, "I am harming myself and might sooner or later catch very horrible side effects", NOW I am using MMS on daily basis since last year and a half and I feel great . However I HAVE DIFFICULTIES CONVINCING MDs THAT THIS IS NOT A FREE RADICAL AND IF IT IS, IT IS A GOOD FREE RADICAL IF THAT MAKES SENSE.
PLEASE ILLUMINATE ME ON THIS QUESTION: Is CLO2 a Free Radical?

Mr. Jim Humble

MMS is an oxidizer so yes, in a sense it is a free radical.

I fully believe that mms is safer than using antibiotics and other drugs for the types of diseases that it can be effective on, and we are still learning what those are.

Antibiotics may not be free radicals but they certainly toxic and posions to the system and can cause many problems and further disease. MMS has not demonstrated that it does so.

Jim Humble has taken it for over 5 years, maybe longer, and he aint dead yet.

Unlike him I do not recommend that it be taken daily but should be saved for true illness and a perhaps a yearly detox protocol of 3 to 6 weeks in generally healthy people.

Because it kills pathogens and oxidizes heavy metals its value is high. But all medicines should be used with caution, dicipline and hopefully a sound protocol.

Remember how we were douped into believing that fats were dangerous and how they got most of us eating plastic marjorine? Now fats are good they tell us... clearly 'they' don't know what they are talking about.

Read and study for yourself. Make your own conclusions in as unbiased a way as you can.. You will end up in a better situation than if you listen to the powers that be and their corporate sponsored opinions

Mmsenthusiast, do yourself a favor, save your breath and don't talk about mms to MDs. They cannot agree with you no matter how true the facts without loosing their medical license.
Chlorpne dioxide is a chemical compound and is not a free radical.

Chlorine dioxide steals electrons from other molecules therefor it is an oxidizer and free radical.
read this report: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chlorine_dioxide

This is the reason that vitamin c is not used during mms therapy as vitamin c is an anti-oxidant and it will nutralize mms.

Chlorine dioxide, what you have after mms is activated, is a fairly mild oxidant. More mild than ozone therapy that has been used in Europe for over 70 years.

Oxygen is also an oxidant... your body can get along with oxidants... don't let the fear mongering about free radicales cloud the issue. There is still much they do not know about free radicals and anti-oxidants.

Hydrogen peroxide is also an oxidant and free radical that your body actually produces on its own during certain metabolic reactions. It is a necessary part of your biology so free radicals are sometimes a good thing. It is estimated by some research at Scripts Institue that your body also produces small amounts of ozone gas.

Thank you for all of your explanations. This post makes things a lot more clear for me.
