The edit function doesn't apply, as far as I can tell, for older posts. I can still edit the post you replied to but not the one with the broken link.

Try it (on an older post). If you figure it out ... please let me know.

When I use mms to brush my teeth with I dilute it with an ounce or two of water.

Dr Bronner.... I met him many years ago when I lived in Escondido, California as he was a friend of a dear friend of mine. We went to his house several times. He was old then it seemed to me but everyone over thirty seemed old back then. He wore glasses that were dark green and thick as coke bottles. I do think he was about functionally blind. He talked much like his labels read. If you want to know his mind and heart read the labels on the Bronners soap bottles. He seem obcessed with civil justice, totalitarian government, which was where he believed America was heading. He was Jewish and escaped Nazi Germany with great difficulty as they wanted to use his knowledge in chemistry. Many of his family members were murdered by Nazi forces.

I use his soap religiously for 30 years now. (but never brushed my teeth with it!)

sorry, I forgot. I think Kevin has a time limit as to how long after you post that you can edit. I can't remember what that time limit is..

It depends on how the forum is set up.

The edit limit is 24 hours. You can always PM admins for modifications if needed.

I have fixed the link, btw.

I like the Bronner soaps (the ones I've tried).

They had a documentary on Bronner and his son about a year ago. His son has put several videos with his stories.. interesting.

Ralph Bronner is involved in social and environmental causes. He also has a page on "cleaning up the organic personal care industry":
Truth and Lies in Organic Personal Care

Quote:
We are taking necessary and dramatic steps in concert with the Organic Consumers Association “Coming Clean” Campaign, to clean up the natural personal care industry. Dr. Bronner would be rather incensed by the rampant organic fraud perpetrated by companies and brands that should know better, but pumped about how we are stepping up with his shoes to address the situation, just as he would have done. How do you brush and rinse with the MMS? How many drops do you activate and how much water do you use to dilute it? I would he interested in this for myself, my husband, and my kids, if you don't mind sharing.

Funny you should mention it. I just started using Dr. Bronners' Tea Tree (Liquid) Soap a few days ago. It doesn't taste half-bad but it's too soon to know if it's benefiting my oral health.

I've been using the Dr. B's Peppermint (Liquid) Soap for several weeks now. I can't tell any difference (yet?) in the quality of my teeth or gums. I can say that it doesn't seem to prevent plaque build-up any better than the natural toothpaste I was using.

So, I don't know if it's helping but I think it's probably safer/healthier than the dozens of ingredients contained in my other toothpaste. And, it's certainly cheaper. I'll keep at it for awhile.

Thanks for all this great information, but my eperience has been very different.
I brushed my teeth with activated mms (diluted in water), for about a month.
At first all seemed great - teeth whiter, mouth felt really clean.
Now practically all my teeth are very sensitive (only had one sensitive tooth before), and it is very difficult to chew almost anything. I'm wondering if the acid has eaten away all my enamel? Now what to do? It really hurts just to brush my teeth. I now use an essential oil (oregeno) diluted with water. Any help would be appreciated. I have been taking mms internally for a while now, and have had wonderful health improvements, so I'm not trying to dis mms, but would like some help in restoring my teeth. I see the last post here is very old, so I don't even knw if anyone is there to respond. Thanks in advance.

People have discussed this problem using mms for brushing before.

If the acid had eaten away all the enamel don't you think you would see it.
Stop using mms in your mouth on a daily basis. I have never seen this recommended
but I have heard such bad results before by those who have experimented.

There are other lest oxidative antimicrobials that can be used for daily use. Look at the following links.

Thanks, Arrowwind09,
I guess really overdid the MMS. I've stopped now for about 2 weeks, my teeth are slightly better, hopefully they'll be better real soon. I'll check out the suggestions in your links, will post if any useful results.
