Question Magnetic Bracelets - What Do You Think?

I have heard from a number of people who swear by their magnetic bracelets for a whole variety of different reasons.

What are your experiences with them? Do you think magnetic therapy works?

Also, what do you think about the magnetic bracelets one commonly finds on the Internet? Are they strong enough? I've heard that some of them might not be.

Would love to hear from everyone!

This blog post on the fact our sources of copper in the diet are getting smaller leads on to think that wearing a copper bracelet may be a good idea.
It's inevitable that some of the copper will get on the skin and will be absorbed. So while I would support the wearing of a copper in contact with skin I'm not sure that magnets would have any effect.

I agree. The magnetic bracelets, shoe pads, etc are a gimmick. Copper bracelets are not and there is evidence that people that wear them have less arthritis, especially in the wrist joints on the side the bracelet is worn. Same with gold rings. Very small amounts of gold are absorbed and there is less arthritis in the ring finger.
