Hi all
Whats the best natural energizer Ginseng or something else. And secondly whats an effective dosage of maca extract 4:1. Anybody have a link to a bulk supllier of Ginseng like a 3-6 months suply?
Wow. I went for a search and when I specified "non-GMO" it shot the results down to just a few, so apparently mostginseng is GMO. When I did click on this link, it said non-GMO but strangely enough, says it contains gluten! What is wheat doing in a ginseng pill???
I think bee products, such as honey, pollen and royal jelly, along with coconut products, offer the greatest concentration of natural energy. And, of course, organic and raw/unfiltered is always best. I'm sure you can find some good research on these foods through a Google search.
Wheat is in nearly everything. The wheat section starts on the bakery row, goes through the snack food row, all the way through the frozen food row, into the canned goods section, on to the dry, 'add water, heat & serve' section, ending only when one gets to the dairy/produce section.

I hate the way maca tastes. The problem was you used to have to take so many capsules to equal a teaspoon of the raw powder. However, now NOW Foods has released capsules of Raw Maca where only 1 of them = 2400mg of maca root powder. It's a 6-1 concentrate. Much more convenient.
I've taken various Ginseng versions of the past year or so and can tell my base endurance level is higher [without other changes]. The key thing is to make sure it's standardized properly for an optimal level of ginsenocides which is what you're truly after in ginseng. I took Nature's Way Korean Ginseng 7% Standardized Ginsenocides and it seemed to be by far the most potent.
A key thing to note is that Ginseng does not boost your energy like sugar or caffiene. It doesn't give you an energy high like those do. It's meant to boost your base endurance so you can operate longer. You may see some hightened energy after long term use but it's again not like what you experience with caffiene. Also do not take it before bed, I made that mistake and had some major insomnia going for awhile lol oops.
Another interesting effect is that since I started taking Ginseng I haven't gotten sick at all. No colds, flu's, nothing. I could attribute that to the probiotic I'm taking though so not sure on that one.
maca EXTRACT works well , but you need to find one 100 % pure maca Excract and need the right formula , these conditions must be the same for any supplements

Yup the correct formula is essential! And unfortunately there are quite a few out there of any herb/supplement that are cheaply made, not standardized, not 100% what they tell you it is.
