Default Lichen Ruber Planus

I have a serious problem, the only thing i found that explains what i have now is the title of the thread, im also suspecting virtigo but im leaning towards BXO,Lichen sclerosus more...

Im going to the dermatologist tomorrow to get a Diagnosis...

What happened is ONE month ago i got 3 white ''spots'' on the corona of the glans of the penis(the head), one ''spot'' in the middle, one on the left and one on the right, the ''spots'' were small and i thought nothing of it was sure it would go away in a matter of days...

Ok to help you understand its not Spots like acne spots or Genital warts ive been having and its not Pearly Penile Papules either...This is like a whitening of the skin, a discoloration if you will... Its not wall white but white-ish, here are some pictures that Resemble what i have (Its penis pictures i hope its ok to post them)

https://www.dermnet.com/images/Lichen...s/picture/5411
https://www.dermnet.com/images/Lichen...s/picture/5386

i guess the pictures are all in a progressive stage of the ''problem'', i guess that because from a month ago when it was just 3 small spots-areas on my corona it is now covering almost 2/3ds of the corona, the middle spot which was the bigger one to begin with has also spread to the skin where the corona connects with the shaft making 2 small white areas which are ruff when i pass my finger over them, but the area on the corona is not as ruff, i guess because the glans are more soft to begin with...

As far as itching goes it has been minimal to non existant, it itched just maybe 2-3 times in the past month and just a small ''tap, scratch'' over the pants resolved it, im not even 100% sure that those times it was the white areas that itched, but i think so.

AND...i also got 3 red spots that dont hurt unless i press with the with my finger, on my left hand and 2-3 on the soles of my feet one near a finger another just in the middle, i also got all these small spot looking rough areas on my left hand between the big finger and the index finger, and my penis just looks weird all around with small small white ''spots'', but its not spots like something i could squeeze or even pick or even feel that much, and its not that visible either but if one looks closely one can see, i know my penis and something fucked up is going on...

Anyway this has become way to complicated for me to find out what i got because i got spots on hands, feet, discoloration on glans, shaft, so im hoping the doctor tomorrow will diagnose me and i can find on the internet and with your help a solution before this gets out of hand...

And i was so happy to see the warts slowly vanish, i cant believe this had to come out now, i mean its like the universe is playing with me...

Ive changed my life so much, and now this comes out its totally demoralising, i feel like crap...

And the doctor im sure he will just look for the simpeler explanation and just throw out a word like candida or fungus just by looking at it, and prescribe me with some antibiotics or nystasin or Whatever, and im also sure im not going to buy any of it, so im pretty sure tomorrow will be a waste of time and money, but its not like i have any other options, at least this doctor knows my history and he might check it out, on the other hand i dont really think so, anyway, IF (GOD please no) i have this BXO Lichen whatever crap, ive briefly read that the cause is unknown, might be genetic, most probably not a virus (btw i hadnt had sex for 8 months now so it cannot possibly be a new STD, i work and i sleep, i keep myself and all around me clean, i eat healthy(not enough though), im doing all the right things, how can this be? And i was feeling sooooo much better all around for watching the Genital warts regress, and now this happens...

Im even paranoid of penile or anal cancer or something really crazy like that, anyway i will let you know what it is after my appointment tomorrow, btw im seeing a dermatologist, the same one that preformed genital warts causterization on me in the past year and a half+, 3 times...

Ive read so many times here and there of doctors taking a swab and sending stuff for analysis to tell you exactly what you have, im so sorry to live in an ancient country, even my warts all the derms and urologists ive seen to this day confirmed genital warts but never did ONE test to see the strain or something, it was all visual diagnosis... I was never even mentioned a swab test by anyone...

I feel empty, energy 0%, this sucks...and the main reason im so scared is that the only research that provided me with pictures of something resembeling what i have was BXO,Lichen planus and maybe Virtigo a little bit...Pictures of fungus or candida on the glans or penis in general didnt show anything like the thing i have

Its time to start taking those ridiculous amounts of vitamin C again....

You know with HPV it was scary and everything but it was spots on the foreskin and the WORST case scenario was a circumsision, that would be HELL for me, but a HELL i could live with...

I was really always greatful my glans warent affected, what now, whats the WORST FUCKING CASE scenario for glans huh? PENIS REMOVAL PROCEDURE? You know doctors and cutting stuff...

Basically just thinking out loud here, i lose my penis, i kill myself, no point in continuing life, i swear to god...

Also ive been washing my penis for little more than a year now firstly with some surgical scrub liquid, dark orange in colour...and later with some other watery looking liquid also anti-bacterial and whatnot, prescribed to me by my dermatologist, i was thinking maybe ive been taking away the natural oils of the glans by putting harsh chemicals on it for so long that it has started to, you know, rot, get sick or something...

Ive already minimised the use of these products in the past week, could this be the problem? i mean could using stuff like this on a penis for a prolonged period of time cause some kind of a problem or is it Highly unlikely?

And its not like i was putting this stuff directly on the glans and scrubbing, i was putting it on the foreskin and scrubbing slightly just enough to clean the area, but sometimes the surgucal scrub would go on the glans too, and sometimes(rarely) i would also wash the glans with it, you know to clean the WHOLE area not just the Genital warts area...

Anyway...

Would also suggest iodine, both topically and internal.

Depending on the strength of the iodine, it may burn a bit but beats the alternative doesn't it?..

I have found that my internal dose helps the skin saturation last longer and sting less.

Ok now, someone Please change the name of this thread to what it actually is...

LICHEN RUBER PLANUS - Thats what i have...

The Dermatologist said lot of doctors wouldnt be able to diagnose correctly, especially the inexperienced ones...

He also said its believed to be caused by Stress, or chronic Inflammation, he believes its both, and i agree...

He also asked me straight away about my teeth and he hit the spot because i always had problems with my teeth, very bad quality, and a month ago when all this Lichen Ruber Planus stuff came out i had an inflammation in my inner cheek, went away in 2 days, then a few days later i had another infammation next to a tooth, 2 days later it went away, it was painful to eat but i didnt pay much attention...

Ive also been having genital warts for over a year and a half now, ive had them burned and pulled and i consider that inflammation too...

So he said to reduce stress, and get my teeth checked and fixed...

So he prescribed me a STRONG Cortisone cream(Dermovate) to use on my hand and foot spots (NOT on the penis he said), and he also prescribed me Anti histamine pills to take...He said to use this stuff for 1 month and if it doesnt go away i will go back and he might have to give me some antibiotics too... ALL THIS IS A NO as far as im concerned...

He also said to stop using anything but water and soap on my penis, im thinking just water...???

And he told me its gonna take time to treat this... :/

Arrow, people, what to do about this? im gonna start reading now...

Hmmm. Well here I go again. Soap is alkaline. Alkaline, unless in high dose, will not kill fungus. Fungus thrives in alkaline. Here is a much better solution.

Quote:
Fungus can develop in a variety of forms on the body. Typically, an antifungal medication in the form of a pill or cream is used on-site to treat and eliminate the fungus. However, some people believe apple cider vinegar to be a worthy substitute for traditional fungal treatment, and some medical evidence backs up this claim. If you suffer from severe symptoms, however, such as redness, inflammation and swelling, see a doctor right away.
Skin Fungus

Fungus can appear just about anywhere on the skin. Two common types are malassezia and tinea. Malassezia is found on healthy scalps but can become overgrown and lead to dandruff, itching and oily skin, reports MayoClinic.com. Tinea is also known as ringworm and can affect various areas including the body, the feet and the scalp. Itching and irritated patches of skin are the most common symptoms.

Function

Apple cider vinegar can be an effective fungus treatment on the skin. According to "Dr. Earl Mindell's Amazing Apple Cider Vinegar," by Earl Mindell, vinegar kills bacteria and fungus, especially when applied to the affected area repeatedly. This is also effective for skin conditions like seborrheic dermatitis, which affects the scalp and is sometimes caused by a fungus.
Vinegar as Treatment

You need to prepare apple cider vinegar in a specific way to treat fungus. According to "The Herbal Drugstore: The Best Natural Alternatives to Over-the-Counter and Prescription Medicines," by Dr. Linda B. White and Steven Foster, mixing 1/8 of a cup of vinegar with one cup of water will dilute it enough to be effective in treating the fungus without irritating your skin. Apply to the affected area twice a day with a cotton ball.
Effects

In general, apple cider vinegar is harmless when applied in diluted form to the skin. Even so, it can burn your eyes, so keep it away from this area and apply it in a well-ventilated space, as the fumes can be quite strong. If the fungus hasn't cleared up within a few weeks or gets worse, see a doctor for a stronger course of treatment.

I have even used undiluted ACV for underarm deodorant in times of heavy sweating or outdoor activity. ACV will kill bacteria as well as fungus. Women use it for douching to help with yeast infections.

Don't worry. The odor goes away rather quickly.

Well, time to update.

I have good news.

My penis, the little white line I had there, it's is 100% gone.

My bellybutton, it's clean, 100%.

This concludes this thread. It's over!

Now, the only thing that I guess remains, in one of my previous posts I had mentioned 3 small, small areas on my legs that had these spots. Those spots have been gone for quite some time. I've inspected 2 of those 3 areas (can't remember where exactly the 3rd one was), and both those areas, the skin there doesn't really grow hair there anymore. But, as I said, those are very small areas, and the hair growing all around it covers it, so it's really not visible At All, except if I look for it, knowing exactly where it is. Which, I can live with

So, this has been dealt with. Came on overnight, took like about a year to clear off, but took about two years to Completely clear off.

Now, onto other things that need to be dealt with!

Thank you all. Haven't forgot about NatMedTalk, the best health forum in the world!!! Love you guys!

when you take your mms swish and swallow. It will greatly assist your oral hygine and eventually get rid of oral infections.

Generally I mix up 3 drops and add one to two ounces of water and swish and swallow. or if just treathing my teeth or mouth just swish. If you dont like the aftertaste just rinse your mouth out. I find it doesnt taste as bad if I use luke warm water.
