Default olive leaf extract

I keep hearing about how great olive leaf extract is for you. I saw a study and read some people's comments about how they took olive leaf extract and their bood pressure lowered. Well I see that most supplements are 500mg to 750mgs, but the study I read said that 500mg has no effect and 1,000mg lowered it on average 11/4. It seems that they took twice a day 500mg to get the 1,000mg.

My problem is that I keep reading that olive leaf gives you energy. I'm a little nervous about taking a 500mg pill at night if I split it up with morning and night. I'm wondering if I should just take 1,000mg in the morning or if I won't get as good results compared to splitting up the pills or if I'm better off just taking one 750mg pill in the morning.

Olive leaf extract is very good for you,we make our own, as we have olive tree's growing wild in the park near us, we get small twigs strip the leaves off and half fill a slow cooker with the leaves then the rest with water, and cook for 12 hours, then strain and bottle, some recipes put vegatable glycerine in to make it a bit sweeter.

It is not such a pleasant taste but works just the same as the bought OLE, maybe even better, after a couple of days you might feel unwell for a day or so but that is just the OLE getting the toxins out of your body.
We take a tablespoon a couple of times a day, and make up a fresh batch after 2 weeks, even if we havent used all the other, just to make sure its fresh.
I am not sure what dosage would be best in tablet form.

No we don't seem to have any problems sleeping, but then we usually take it just before breakfast and lunch, I would think you could take it any time of the day as far as i'm aware.

A study carried out in Indonesia found OLE to be as effective as leading pharmaceutical drugs in tackling high blood pressure, but without the side effects

Thanks for the help
I'm going to start out with 500mg once a day and move to 750mg once I finish that bottle.

The best OLE on the market is made by Seagate. They use more of the olive leaf and it apparently works synergistically to make it better than others. They're currently have a two-for-one sale on it on their web site. It's fairly pricy so might want to take advantage of the sale. I was taking high doses of it to try to rid myself of HPV and had no apparently side effects; it also didn't rid me of the virus! I take a 450 mg pill everyday, occasionally more if I feel I may be coming down with something. I haven't had a cold or flu for years! They have other OLE products, as well as their capsules, so check it out at SeagateProducts.com. I just received some MMS from Australia and am going to start it for the HPV, so any recommendations there?

I would suggest starting out slow.

I would also suggest using a 10-20% citric acid solution to activate the MMS instead of lime juice, vinegar, etc..

Also, since MMS is an oxidizer, take it at least 2 hours away from anything that contains vitamin C. (or any antioxidant)

~Seagate is a very good company, and does have the best olive leaf extract capsules, sprays, etc..

Thank you, pinball. Yes, I have every intention of starting out VERY slowly. The MMS came with a citric acid activator and someone had recommended mixing it with apple juice, nothing "citrusy." However, the baby apple juice I bought because it has 40% less sugar, says it contains 100% of the RDA of vitamin C, so maybe that's not a good option after all. I have a WaterWise distiller, so maybe I should just mix it with water? I take astaxathin and Vitamin C, plus numerous other supplements, so maybe it would be a good idea to stop them while I take the MMS? I'm supposed to be re-tested for HPV at the end of July, so if I'm free of it, I could go back to my regular supplement regimen?

Yes, any filtered water will do. It will taste like swimming pool water, but just think of it as medicine..

No need to stop taking supplements, just allow at least 2 hours after taking the MMS solution.

High dose vitamin C kills viruses.
