The Virgin is very detail oriented and therefore a worrier. They are critical and skeptical, as they draw boundaries and categorize others. At the same time they are most helpful as well as modest. The Virgo is practical, industrious, efficient, intelligent, spirited, thorough, methodical, exacting, precise, detail-oriented, observant, work and service oriented, painstaking, pragmatic, discreet, health and cleanliness conscious, mentally active, and flexible.
My mother was a virgo. My sister is a virgo. My mother would worry if someone stepped on a blade of grass, which might hurt it. She and I invented worries, where there were none. A bad habit. Sometimes I think I'm related to Adrian Monk (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monk_%28TV_series%29)

Okay, I see most of that in myself, but not to an extreme degree
And anyway, they forgot creative, attractive lol, sexxy, playful, loyal, mellow, goofy, loving, helpful and fruit flavored.

I had to laugh because my last post makes it appear that the second sentence was written about me & not jfh. I could be mistaking.. but i believe I read somewhere that he said he was predomently grape flavored...
Im always amused about the horror-scopes in the daily newspapers.
7,000 people a day die in the US and most of them will have a sun sign reading along the lines of " Its going to be a wonderful day look out for new and exciting things coming your way"
Seriously, people should know that the Bible condemns astrology as an 'abomination' in the sight of God. I thought these were strong words until one day I read about Alisteir (The Beast) Crowley,probably the most famous Satanist who ever lived.
He used to stand in an astrological chart circle to call up the Devil himself, until one day he got his protective ritual wrong and ended up in a insane asylum for a year.
Astrology is part of the Satanist toolkit, stay away is my recommendation.
Yes, it is quite entertaining
And who knows, maybe those 7,000 on their way out & reading their sun sign for the day... do end up in a better place.. with wings & away from this hell hole lol

There's many things in the Bible that are contradictory. The Ten Commandments tell us; 'Thou shalt not worship any graven images'. How many christians do you know of that worship the cross? How many religious icons, statues, symbols, etc, find their way into churches? I'm just sayin.
Men had the opportunity to inject their prejudices 'of the times' into the Bible. For instance, anything sciencey prior to the writing of the Bible was considered satanic, so naturally that line of thinking would be expressed in the Book. And often times, the Bible is misinterpreted & taken out of context simply because people have no clue of the history of the times.. In this case, I believe people miss the boat in the passages by Daniel & Isaiah where it's thought they're condemning the practice of astrology.
If you think about it, what is said by God in the first chapter of the Bible?
Genesis 1:14 in King James Version
'And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:'
What did the 3 Wise Men use as a tool to find the babe in a manger? hmmm?
Here's one of Jesus' prophecies from Luke 21:25-27 ~ King James Version;
'25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.'
Even though I probably won't see it in my lifetime, who knows? Could happen so unless I make the intelligent choice by studying astrology & astronomy and learning how to interpret 'the signs', how else will I be able to recognize the second coming of Christ? Giving the above passage, I think Jesus studied astrology Himself
Horoscope ~ horos means time and scopos means an observer.
Astrology ~ astron means star and logia means to speak.
