I started taking MMS for my acute prostatitis 2 days ago starting at 3 drops every hour the whole day with several hour long breaks if I got nauseas, this worsened symptoms noticeabley i started taking 12 drops 3 times a day, getting even more worse.

I am afraid because i find no info on MMS causing worsening symptoms, am I doing the wrong regimen? could this be a hexheimer reaction? Should I take as much as possible? any advice would be greatly appreciated I am planning on going to the doctor in several days if it doesn't clear up regardless, that's my last resort as I am not insured and in financial strain.

Worsening could be a herximer reaction.... it is really difficult to say. I have not heard of anyone actually having their disease process advance because of MMS although I have heard of some diseases not curing with it. I have heard of this condition, if in fact that is truly what it is, curing with mms.

We have a lot of posts here on the forum about this condition. It seems to be a very difficult issue.

Thanks for your response

How long from treatment would it be safe to say it isn't herximer? This is my third day I am noticing I have the "runs" really really bad and each time I go the condition lessens, really strange I will keep updating in case anyone else experiences this reaction to MMS with this condition. I am beginning to feel relief; however, without a doubt the MMS worsened my symptoms for the past 2 days which like you is something I have yet to hear of.

UPDATE: I discovered the prostatitis was a candida infection. The MMS was making symptoms worse due to a intense Die-Off. On a further note I discovered MMS with Candida Prostatitis, didn't help me or would help and come right back, without strict adherence to the candida diet. This is advice for anyone suffering the same problem mentioned before.

Candida can be a very comprehensive disease required attack on several fronts. The diet is essentail.

some people can't get rid of it because their bowels leak candida into the blood stream so they are constantly reinfecting different locations. Working on healing the bowel is essential. Here is protocol that has helped some:

for a probiotic in this above protocol consider VSL#3 probiotic

Candida is complicated. Our body acids keep it in control, in the yeast bud state. Even our friendly bacteria produce acids to help control these bad parasites. When alkaline is introduces, the yeast buds transform into a fungus, very aggressive. Then it can become systemic.

I have been fighting fungus for many years. I don't know if it is Candida, but fungus is fungus in my mind. I did not have success with MMS after 9 months of trying. I took it to the 15 drops a few times per day. I could have and should have dropped back to a maintenance dose daily, but after 9 months, I was too disheartened.

The problem with fungus is that, when you try to kill it, you may not get every little single cell of it. It will take ten days to reproduce, and you will have to start over. Yours is centered in or around your prostate. Mine is in deep in my sinuses.

No matter what my story is, everyone has various situations going on in the body, so it is well worth the effort for you to try the MMS. At the very least or best, MMS will clear up other problems so that your immune system will function much better than before. You need to help out your immune system as well. Arrowwinds advice on the probiotics is the best. MMS will leave most of the probiotics alone, but some will be sacrificed.

acute prostatitis can kill you don't confuse it with chronic prostatits.
Antibiotics work for acute prostatitis and are a good idea so it don't become chronic.
I am all for herbal and mineral therapy but something like Acute Infection of the prostate is not something to risk as it can spread to your kidneys.

Colloidal silver at 20 ppm will kill any fungus, including candida. It takes some time, however unlike MMS, colloidal silver is much easier to take, and if you make your own its almost free.

Any disease that ends with "itis" is caused by fungus.

And antibiotics always make fungus or candida worse!
but urine cultures grow with acute prostatitis so he can should get the doctor to do cultures and if no bacteria grows he can be reasonably sure he has fungal prosatitis.

to fight off fungal prostatitis mms and silver water wont do the trick alone? cutting back to the very strict candida diet is the only thing to work? or all 3 of the treatments would be necessary? the diet is very very hard. how long would it logically take to start and finish the diet and would it be ideally sped up by the mms and sw? hate the strict diet. gave up on it before as i was not getting anywhere. but really whatever what ever it takes.

Hey Philip, I just read this post of yours, from 10 years ago. Are you still around, and would you consider sharing with my your experience? Txs.
