Nuts are the best food sources of omega fats for the brain. Ever noticed what a walnut half looks like? The answer is a cerebrum. Therefore, walnuts are good for the cerebral cortex. And almonds, or prunus amygdalis dulcis, are good for the amygdala. Peanuts are good for the pineal gland, or the mind's eye. Pine nuts, or pignolias, are also good for the epiphysis. And so on...

We really are what we eat.

Nuts are rich in lecithin. Regular consumption of nuts can improve blood circulation, inhibit platelet aggregation, prevent cerebral thrombosis, delay brain function decline, enhance memory, and delay aging.

Yes, nuts are good for the brain! Also cholesterol is good for the brain, since mylin, that makes up a good portion of the brain, is 100% cholesterol!! Eggs, cooked in BUTTER at low temp, or boiled, is a great way to get more cholesterol, while avoiding the two worst substances for the brain... Sugar and cooking oils!!
