This is for sure, I don't get what the OP means. No one pays our way and doing a GOOD JOB is a great accomplishment.

Find a job you love and you will never work again. I was an illustrator back in my 20s but didn't make much money so I became an IT guy and made big time money. I am in pretty good shape financially and quit my IT job to become an illustrator again. Still not making big money but damn happy.
