Has anyone experienced Sleep Paralysis?

My brother is 15 years old and he is frequently experiencing sleep paralysis. It sometimes results in heavy breathing. Many people even relate this with supernatural incidents. Has anyone experienced this? And how do you deal with it?

Yes, I have felt it many times. It feels like someone is sitting on my chest and I can’t move to get it off me. I have even seen human figures in my room with my eyes wide open.
