I am 32 years old and I have still after 6 years post delievery of my child milk coming out my nipples ( bilateral) while squezzing not spontan., but appr. 9 months ago I discovered some bloody drainage while squezzing from one duct on the left site ( it was then dark brown in color). I went to had since that time 2 mammograms, 3 Ultrasounds and 1 Ductogram performed ( last Ultrasound in mid July), they could not see anything except on the last Ultrasound the Doc said he can see an enlarged milkduct which is might be infected. Now I have while sqezzing the left breast some, very little pure red discharge coming out. My breast does not hurt at all and no lumps are there. What can it be and how can I treat that naturally?

should you quit squeezing? or are you doing that because ....no....you said while squeezing not spontaneous, so, why are you squeezing I wonder?

I am concerned about my health, and I do not know what it can be. The feeling of not knowing why it is bloody makes me wish every time I do it, that there is no blood coming out anymore.

but if it's been 6 yrs and you've been squeezing all that time, maybe you kept the milk coming out a bit, then too, maybe irritated your milk ducts?? why do you squeeze? I kinda don't think you should?

It certainly is not normal to get milk out at this point, squeezing or no. And the blood is a concern. Of course it is difficult to tell what this is all about from my arm chair, but if it were me I would look into iodine supplementation. Lugols iodine specifically.
Iodine mediates the effects of hormones on breast tissue in a very posititive way.

There could be the possibility that you have a hormonal issue of some sort. This could encompass issues with estrogen and or progesterone as well as master gland hormones in the brain. I strongly suggest that you see a medical doctor that is experienced in BIO-IDENTICAL hormone replacement. I emphasize bio-identical because you don't want to get suckered into any other type of hormone replacement. You may need to get your hormones balanced.. one or the other may be out of whack. It is hard to second guess without getting hormonal lab values.

Be aware that most doctors know little to nothing about bio-identical hormone replacement but experts can be found if you look around. It is a growing therapy. More and more doctors that do bio-identical hormone replacement also are guiding their patients in iodine supplementation. Iodine can mediate the negative effects of estrogens on breast tissue an it is pretty clear that estrogens for some women can be a cause of some types of breast cancer. Taking the correct types of estrogens are essential and of course always balanced with progesterone.

You need a full check up by the right kind of doc.

Hi katjate, welcome. I think you do have intraductal papilloma, and the discharge is caused by a small non-cancerous growth that is rubbing against and irritating a milk duct. I think Lugol's iodine may be a possible treatment to shrink the growth, but I don't know enough to recommend any specific protocols. Maybe someone else here can offer some good recommendations. Meanwhile, I'll keep my eyes peeled for any herbal remedies, etc. that might help. I'll post if there's anything of interest.
