It would be nice if these articles would indicate how much is required. I'm sure that the normal sprinkling on toast each day is not going to help. We know that cinnamon is useful for so many health problems.
I don't think they know of a recommended dose for humans yet, but I've read that for things like blood sugar, 1,000 mg capsules with each meal per day is the dose used.
I think sprinkling healthy spices on our foods and in our drinks is a good idea, but that's never enough to be therapeutic. I use Turmeric on my vegetables (when I eat them), but I take a small spoonful every morning for its health benefits.
