Questions....

I'm a 15 year old male and i've been noticing for a while now that there are a few times where there are small red spots in my poo. It doesn't happen often, but it still happens a few times. I've never really payed attention to the color of my poo, but i think it's dark sometimes, and it might also be dark poo with red spots on it. Also, a few days ago a small red dot came from my butt while i went poo. I also have blood on my toilet paper when i go at times, but the doctor told me that it was fissure. Also, i've had some really liquidy poo at times. For about 8 months now i've had a problem where i feel like i need to poo at night (also after i take shower) but then i can't go, but then i'll wake up the next morning and then i have to go to poo. there are timesa when my abdominal/stomach area hurt after i poo. the pain may have reached my groin area before too, although i cant really recall a time that it did but it may have in the past. when i feel like i might have to go sometimes i get a weird feeling on the side of my stomach, like gas i guess. Can you guys tell me what this is? is it anything serious? also, i usually have to hold in poo when im at school for about 6 hours, can this cause problems?

edit: a new development: my poo recently was mostly brown but had a bit of black

It is too complicated. You need to have a stool test done by your doctor for analysis. This is a simple and harmless test; and is sometimes done by routine physicals.

I could be anything - internal hemorrhoids, too much aspirin or NSAIDS, a developing complication like crohn's, IBS, and so on.

This is not something that can be diagnosed on-line.

I would think it would only be lifestyle threatening. It really would be best to follow this though with a doctor. Blood can mean infection or hemorrhoids; but it can also mean something greater. Best to get checked for early conditions; so at least you know what you are dealing with. You can get most things fixed, when found early - even cancer.

There was a bit of actual poo, and it may have been yellow. My stomach is also hurting a little bit. Can anyone help me with this?

Go to the grocery store and get some activia yogurt, if your problem does not get better in 10 days get to the doctor.
