All 4 Osteoporosis drugs found harmful to women

www.abcnews.com has been running info on evening 6pm national news about
basically Fosamax but actually all 4 of the Big Pharma drugs for Osteoporosis - how numerous
women mostly but also one man - who have been taking these drugs for
4 yrs or more, for bone strengthening, are actually having their femur bone - largest
bone in thigh - breaking easily with no falls, no trauma, accidents, etc.

If you or anyone you know is taking a Pharma Med for Osteoporosis, please let
them know about this. At the CBS search Engine, type in Fosamax and FDA to
get to the info. So far, segments have been on for 3 nights in a row. Doctors who
have been prescribing these drugs are being asked to contact both FDA and Pharma
Cos.of any irregularities. Horrors!!!

I heard that on the news too EarlyBird! Funny how they get people to take a drug to strenghten their bones, only to experience opposite results from it!

Just like Avandia for diabetes causeing all those heart attacks/failures. The "higher ups" knew there was a problem with that drug years ago, but they didn't want to disrupt the money making flow from that pharmaceutical!

What bugs me, is all the TV commercials and magazine ads for these pharmaceutical medications! They seem to be coming out with a new one every month to test on the "sheeple". Well...I guess if it's good enough for Sally Field, then I'll see my doctor and order some up today...NOT!

Yes, I have had patients with their jaw bone disentigrated from it also.
I would not use these but if one should for some god forsaken reason 18 months is the upper limit for their usage. After that bone stops depositing and starts falling apart.

I would think that they get banned eventually
