Why do we have a thread that was locked closed?

I was just checking over the forum, and noticed that in the general topics forum, we have a thread with only three post and it was closed... the title of the thread is "swine Flu can be prevented with Vitamin D" I have nothing to post, but I am curious why it was locked shut... is this a conversation that is controversial?

If new members post spam links in their first posts, I will remove the posts. But If an active member has replied, I will clean it up and lock it instead. All moderation is about spams.
