I need advice - on natural herbs etc for testosterone (something for me and the wife)

I am admittingly having a little problem in the bedroom if you know what I mean... it seems to be both being ( for the lack of a better term) horny and once active sustaining myself.. - I was hoping for a magic "bullet" so to speak naturally - no levitra etc... I like all of whats involved with the wife etc.. I just cant seem to get motivated
Did you ever find a solution for your problem? If not, some things do come to mind, as far as products that you might try. (And, I'll say here that while I do sell these, I don't want to come across like you have to get them from me.)
An herb that can be really good for male issues is Tribulus. Another thing you might try is Medi Herb's Rhodiola / Ginseng. There are quality issues with this herb, so it's real important to get it from a reputable supplier, which is why I suggest Medi Herb.
Having said that, there's a combination product from a little company called Weed Botanical, Male Virility. This product (for me personally) has worked amazingly. I took 6 droppers a day for about 6 months, and saw verifiable increase in testosterone, using salivary hormone testing.
Nutritionally, I would suggest some things from Standard Process that might help: Symplex M, and Orchic PMG for starters, and see what happens. Take 6 per day of the Symplex M, and maybe 2-6 per day of the Orchic.
It would be worth your while trying to keep your 25(OH)D3 level reasonably high with 1000iu/daily/Vitamin D3 for each 25lbs you weigh. You may want to consider starting with 10,000iu/daily during the winter. and after 2~3 months reducing intake after you have checked your level with a postal 25(OH)D3 test
As Vitamin D helps both male and female fertility and gonadal function it would be sensible for both parties to take that amount.
You can also try a chinese tonic called shou wu chih (available in oriental groceries for 5 bucks, do not fall scam to the internet stuff for 20 bucks). Take 1 oz a day in a glass of water, by day 4 or 5 you will notice a difference.
Although many people just groan when I make this suggestion, the most effective way to boost testosterone is exercise. Exercise triggers every natural mechanism for increasing this hormone. Give yourself a solid 20 minutes of cardiovascular exercise (anything that raises heart rate) two times a day for a month and you will be astounded how much more energy and virility you will have. That isn't much to ask for the enormous range of benefits you will see in all aspects of your life. Find an exercise you enjoy, like dancing, to make this fun. It's important to develop enjoyment for healthy activity, otherwise it's unlikely to happen.
Another factor that plays into testosterone levels is consumption of meat and dairy foods that are laden with estrogen compounds. If you do eat meat and dairy; Unless you are eating grass fed meat, insect fed chicken, organic milk from grass fed cows, and non farmed fish, you are eating lots of chemicals designed to boost estrogen. Over a period of time, that's going to have a major impact on hormonal health, especially testosterone.
The simple solution is to eat a primarily vegetarian diet and only consume organic dairy products. If you do eat animals and dairy, I would highly recommend you try the non-hormone options.
In addition to those suggestions, I really enjoy maca root. It is a root vegetable cultivated in Peru that has a long and safe history of usage and is known to promote virility and stamina in both men and women. I have found it excellent for improving my drive, both for exercise and for sex. It can be taken in capsules but I prefer to add it to soft foods (like applesauce, warm cereal, or plain organic yogurt) or smoothies.
For targeted formulas, I've had great feedback from Gaia Herbs product called Male Libido/Women's Libido. Great encapsulated formulas. Steel Libido from Irwin Naturals also has a great reputation.
Thank you spirit raintree - I think those are excellent reminders. It's always best to support the natural function of the body with diet and exercise, the way it was designed, and then take care of the missing pieces with additional support (supplements, herbs, etc.) if and only if that is needed. Not to mention that modern life has built a veritable minefield where chronic conditions are becoming increasingly ubiquitous. You made me think also of the xenoestrogens that are produced by plastics. I know of one baby who was getting cherry angiomas (which can be a strong indication of too much estrogen in the system), and the parents only did one thing - they stopped using plastics (bottled water, etc), and within a few months the baby's angiomas went away.
