Default the cancer industry just banned me for having HIFU

I have been on healthier talk for quite some time, Iggy introduced me to HIFU, High Intensified Focused Ultrasound. My husband had it done in Mexico, though http://www.internationalhifu.com/ ... It was great, no side effects.

And so, I've been posting at healingwell.com I told them about HIFU, then suddenly after a week of telling the people where and how, and what web sitesto go to, I was banned & all my posts deleted. Plus, there was another site I posted how great HIFU is for prostate cancer....they haven't banned me but they change my posts....I can't reemember their name (I'm in Europe now--don't have my notes).

It not only breaks my heart--there are men out there who will be cut up and left in diapers now, that I coulda helped.....but now I wonder about everything....the cancer industry.....it really is just a money making machine......my sister died because she didn't trust doctors, but the alt med community failed her too. Her husband was a pharmacist, and he filled her full of stories about the medical community, and therefore she didn't trust them.

But this is sickening, and I'm very upset, I want everyone to know there's a cure for prostate cancer, without suffering any discomfort.....my friend, a urologist nurse for 15 years says 90% of men who have surgery end up wearing diapers, and the ones who had radiation end up with another cancer int eh area. If you read healingwell.com the men pretty much all say surgery was easy and they don't suffer incontinence....but I wonder if the guy who says that isn't the same guy who banned me and deleted my posts....

They just don't know what a monster they created......

Hello Dawna,

Welcome to the forum. There will be no banning of your story here. We ban very little, that being direct spam and people who are obnoxious, incinerary and crude.

I edited your post to put in the website for HIFU as I think its a good idea for folks to look at it. Making it clickable just makes it easier for them. You didn't need to put just part of a link here. If anyone has knowledge of a treatment that works we want to look at it...unless your a marketer anyway.

Its getting so that a lot of folks come to this forum so your story will get out. Thanks for sharing it.

If you want to share more details about the treatment please do. Having myself cared for a number of men with terminal prostate cancer I know just how horrible it is and how painful and debilitating the treatments are. One sad part of the story is that some men are still coerced into prostate cancer treatment when it truly is not indicated.

That site is a keeper Dawna. Thanks.

If I have a structural problem, I would see a GP. No problem. I did that with a hernia that could have become a 911 situation, if it punched through the muscle.

Prostate problem? I would consider alt first. However, with my natural high anxiety, I would only try alt things for a couple of months (oleander, sutherlandia OPC). I would try; because I would have been preventive in the first place. So, if I were diagnosed with prostate cancer, my current prevention would have already failed. Know what I mean?

Hi, nice to see you all again....

Thanks Arrowind09 for the welcome...

I am glad to hear there is a HIFU page, as now that I am painfully aware that the cancer industry is banning all who write about HIFU, I will need to get out and talk more often, in more places, and start a letter writting campaing, but I also see that if the HIFU industry kills chemo industry then it will cost our country zillions.....who to care about....??? People!!! I always wondered why there weren't more people writting about HIFU, now I know.

Did you know that in China there's a doctor in Shanghai who treats breast, bone, pancreatic, kidney, and liver cancer (any tumor) with HIFU?? He has clinical trials that have impressive records, if we only cared about people think where this invention could be.....

Now, I understand why there is a alt med world....

JFH,
I agree, unless you have the money for HIFU....as it is nothing, I mean easier than washing your face. So there is no reason to risk prostate cancer turning ugly if you can afford HIFU....but I think you are worth $25,000.

Having performed over 1,000 HIFU cases in the past 7 years, and as a practicing urologist, I can assure HIFU is a viable alternative for the treatment of localized prostate cancer, and with less risks of side effects. Thank you for coming to visit us Dr Suarez. We are always interested in reading and learning about alternative treatments, especially for cancer. We have had some posters here very ill with prostate cancer over the last few years. I have heard previously about the wonderful results this procedure can bring, but alas, many people in the USA fear going to Mexico or any other nation for treatment, not having good information upon which to make a decision.

You can be sure some of here will go through your site looking for all the details we can find.

I have been following the development of HIFU for a while now. It's frustrating to see a great technology like this take so long to become approved in the US when it has been in use in Europe for over a decade. I was recently at the 2009 American Urological Association meeting in Chicago and saw a poster presentation by Dr. William Orovan of Maple Leaf HIFU (www.hifu.ca). His results indicated that HIFU is as effective as surgery and has fewer side effects.

I stopped by the EDAP booth to inquire about their expectations regarding approval of the Ablatherm technology, but they indicated it isn't expected to be approved until 2012. Hopefully insurance companies will recognize the benefits of this treatment prior to approval and more men will be able to afford HIFU.

Dr. Suarez,

My husband had HIFU in Mexico with your partner, Dr. S. Scionti 5 months ago.

I started this thread because I was telling people at healingwell.com how fantastic HIFU is, no side effects, easy as pie, I listed all the clinical trials, but told people if they can afford the 25,000. then I recommend they go to the best....internationalHIFU.com

I wrote out my story at healingwell.com... the one I posted at yananow.com....I was even tempered even though I was attacked and accused of working for HIFU, people said it was just a scam.

After 3 or 4 days of answering questions I was banned and all my posts were deleted.

I am now left believing that the medical (surgical?) association has hired people to put HIFU down, make people afraid it's a scam. I admit, prior to going to Mexico I was afraid I had fallen into a scam, there are so many on the internet. Maybe it is just men who have had surgery and are upset they didn't find the info on HIFU before they had surgery...but I find it sickening that I was banned from there.

But, my husband is one happy guy, to kill prostate cancer without any pain or side effects is just wonderful. It's a sin that the FDA doesn't approve it.....a money decision for sure.

I am out of the country, but when I return I assure you I will continue my plight to save men from the knife, and radiation. (which my doctor tells me causes cancer later somewhere in the area).

Many thanks to Dr. Suarez!!!!
Donna

You know Arrowwind, I don't think a HIFU page works, I mean, if you haven't heard of it then a page titled HIFU won't get anyone who needs it...right? sorry, I just don't have time right now to look around...maybe it's under prostate cancer..?

Arrowwind, I googled "Iggy Dalrmple alt med cat" and got you....that how I ended up here! your site is a easy get no matter where you are!!!

Oh, that doc in China also treats brain cancer (tumors) with HIFU.

Here is the info for HIFU from England; they are way ahead of us...

http://www.utlltd.co.uk/utl/ultrasou...rapeutics.html

www.hifucancertreatment.co.uk/hifu.html

http://www.utlltd.co.uk/hifu-cancer-treatment/high-intensity-focused-ultrasound.html

http://www.utlltd.co.uk/hifu-cancer-...al-trials.html

In England they have HIFU clinical trials at the Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals on bone, liver, kidney & pancreatic cancer.

Royal Marsden Hospital for the Institiute of Cancer Research also does HIFU, oh heck in Europe all health facilites do HIFU for cancer, in America we are ruled by the surgical & radiation industry, which stands to lose zillions when we change to ultrasound.

If Obama wants to lower the cost of health care--here it is!!!

Dave,
Sorry, but I don't see HIFU being legal until the mass of men leave the country to get HIFU.

Also, I don't like Maple Leaf, their list of why Albatherm is better than Sonablate has various lies listed, for instance they imply that the probe is moving during the procedure, but it's locked into place, the beam of light is the moving part, unlike there machine which is fixed and if the gland moves (spasm) then that part won't get treated. also the Albatherm only is capable of zapping a small gland, so the redo rate in Europe (where it is mostly used) is 40%. The cancer industry likes this stat! Plus--you must have a TURP (roto tooter of the penis) preformed before treatment....no TURP for Sonablate....unless your gland is huge. My hubby didn't need one, and his gland was too large for the Albatherm.

the cancer industry likes the fact that there's a war between Albatherm and Sonablate...

When I posted the list of all clinical trials at healingwell.com a guy posted "son of a gun, my doctor is in charge of the trials where I live, and he never even mentioned HIFU to me, and my stats are perfect for HIFU" His PSA was 2.35 and his biopsy only had 2 cores with cancer. He found out his doctor was in charge when he phoned the hospital and asked for info.

Dr. Suarez and Dr. Scionti both have used both machines quite a bit, and both prefer the Sonablate.

Glad to have you to talk to!

This just makes me wonder what else I cannot believe....aaarrrgggghhhh, I've always been a firm believer! The FDA's Board of Directors is composed of 6 radiologists and 3 surgeons.

I just checked the healing well site...the guy who posted that his doctor was in charge of clinical trials where he lived and did not mention the HIFU option has been banned and his posts deleted.

The girl asking all the questions has not posted again, since 4/26, the thread reads all about surgery. The thread is written by The-Best-Friend....you'll see references to my posts, I was ZZZ......and I never said "Death before Diapers", I said "I agree with your friend, before I had HIFU, doing nothing seemed like a good choice". But I was completely deleted.

You cannot privately post to anyone, which now I know is a tip off to a unfair site.
