A FATHER in NJ calls his daughter in NC two days
before Thanksgiving and says, "I hate to ruin
your day, but I have to tell you that your mother and I are divorcing.
Fifty-four years of misery is enough.
"Pop, what are you talking about?" she screams.
We can't stand the sight of each other any longer," the father says.
"We're sick of each other, and I'm sick of talking about this,
so you call your sister and tell her."
Frantic, the one sister calls her other sister, who explodes on the phone.
"Like heck they're getting divorced," she shouts, "I'll take care of this,"
She calls NJ immediately, and screams at her father,
"You are NOT getting divorced. Don't do a single thing until I get there.
I'm calling my sister back,and we'll both be there tomorrow. Until
then, don't do a thing, DO YOU HEAR ME?" and hangs up.
The old man hangs up his phone and turns to his wife.
"Okay," he says, "they're coming for
Thanksgiving and paying their own way.

A game warden was driving down the road when he came upon a young boy carrying a wild turkey under his arm.
He stopped and asked the boy, "Where did you get that turkey?"
The boy replied, "What turkey?"
The game warden said, "That turkey you're carrying under your arm."
The boy looks down and said, "Well, lookee here, a turkey done roosted under my arm!"
The game warden said, "Now look, you know turkey season is closed, so whatever you do to that turkey, I'm going to do to you.
"If you break his leg, I'm gonna break your leg. If you break his wing, I'll break your arm. Whatever you do to him, I'll do to you. So, what are you gonna do with him?"
The little boy said, "I guess I'll just kiss his behind and let him go!"

And your pies take the prize,
And may your Thanksgiving dinner
Stay off your thighs!
