With the second link, the mention of Caprylic Acid is there. I am sure from memory it's one of the Fatty Acids in Coconut Oil, along with Capric Acid? and Decanoic Acid. I only recall the names, don't know about their actions, other than Coconut Oil being heat stable, so no loss of Fats or toxicity whilst cooking, and the Fats convert to energy.

So maybe then Coconut Oil if Caprylic is in there, like I believe, could be added to a list of possible things, for that Leaky Gut repair inventory.
