Default Is the Bible God's Word, Does God speak through Ministers, or is it just hype.

Let's study the bible and christians. Let's compare all the clues, angles, and possibilities so that we can get an accurate assessment. The bible begins with God creating the Universe. Adam and eve dwelling in the garden of eden. After that It's all about mans civilization.

Abe constructing an alter and solomon living in a mansion. God didn't make alters and mansions. Civilization corrupts the aboriginal whom God created. Makes us immoral. An angel appeared to the 3 wise men and told them don't believe herod's B.S. The dude who got his head cut off, who ate honey, locusts, and other wild crafted food, the food that God made, he called the pharisees, who studied the bible and went to church, fakes, phonies, and frauds.

Jesus was meditating on the virtues, acquiring good moral character, achieving peace of mind, and feeling the good vibrations of the cosmos that God made while he was dwelling in the boonies. He got into trouble when he entered politics. He bragged that he was divine.

He was trying to maintain his superiority complex. Let us evaluate the behavior of christians who spend their entire lives studying the bible and going to church. They nagged galileo about studying jupiter, falsely accused joan of arc of being a witch. tortured her while they killed her, gave the europeans the spanish inquisition, and conquered the indians. So they really don't love their neighbor after all.

My grandmother taught me to try not to discuss women, religion, or politics. It will get you into deep trouble. I find that she was a wise woman. People are passionate about those subjects. I try not to make such trouble for myself.

A discussion may not be possible without causing great doubt or insult.

So, I'd rather not. I don't mind discussing such things in person or telephone. Then I can at least try to gauge the emotions of the other person or forum.

I agree Jfh, firstly I don't like painting any group of people with a broad brush, or insulting/judging them for their beliefs. Whether I agree with them or not, I respect their right to worship in any way they want, or not worship at all.
