Default Dr. Phil has show on MRSA

well, it is now out there in the public eye.

I have been reading about it in the school news / county news.. but it is always "low-key" imo.. I think because they don't want a "panic"

but.. it is pretty scary. I've read that MRSA exceeds AIDS deaths now.

And I will say that many many more die from MRSA that public record shows.

Its like this. When the MRSA infection is killing someone they end up in the hosiital and likely they got it in the hospital while they were admitted with another diagnosis, like some kind of heart disease for which they had surgery, or vascular disease, or what have you. They get MRSA on top of that and the death certificate will state the primary diagnosis as cause of death, so the stats are inaccurate when they get around to counting the deaths by MRSA. I knew of a little boy who went into a childrens hospital with a compounded fracture. He acquired MRSA there. On his death certificate it stated Fracture as primary diagnosis and secondary infection as the second diagnosis. No mention of MRSA.

But the community acquired MRSA is even more dangerous and less curable that the hospital acquired. It is a slightly different strain and more resistent to everything. These people will suffer for 2 to 6 years before it kills them. If they are young and strong they may last longer. Of course some do get cured or the infection sufficiently repressed so that they lead normal lives but if they get weak further down the road it is likely to raise its ugly head again.

Like common staph that lives on the skin of all of us, even that can cause an infection if it gets where it does not belong and you are in a weakened state. They say that MRSA will colonize in the nose, groin, arm pits, etc. So there are lots of people walking around now with MRSA just all over them!

Corpus had told one account of MRSA cured with MMS. I wish that person would be willing to communicate with me. This story needs to be told further. I just don't understand why people are so afraid to tell their stories. They could save countless lives. Its not illegal to cure your disease with MMS or with anything that you choose to take.

Just like I had communicated with someone who cured his MRSA with Ozone. He did tell his story but was afraid to keep telling it. MMS is so much easier to do than ozone but there are a couple of nice stories on the cure of MRSA with ozone.

However, I did find this on Honey and MRSA:

Effect of medical honey on wounds colonised or infected with MRSA

Quote:
Full healing was achieved in seven consecutive patients whose wounds were either infected or colonised with methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus. Antiseptics and antibiotics had previously failed to irradicate the clinical signs of infection.
Healing of an MRSA-colonized, hydroxyurea-induced leg ulcer with honey.

BACKGROUND: With the everincreasing emergence of antibiotic-resistant pathogens, in particular methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) in leg ulcers, a means of reducing the bacterial bioburden of such ulcers, other than by the use of either topical or systemic antibiotics, is urgently required. METHODS: We report the case of an immunosuppressed patient who developed a hydroxyurea-induced leg ulcer with subclinical MRSA infection which was subsequently treated with topical application of manuka honey, without cessation of hydroxyurea or cyclosporin. RESULTS: MRSA was eradicated from the ulcer and rapid healing was successfully achieved. CONCLUSION: Honey is recognized to have antibacterial properties, and can also promote effective wound healing. A traditional therapy, therefore, appears to have enormous potential in solving new problems.

Honey does help MRSA wounds yet they will still tend to reoccur because the MRSA is in the system. A topical application of honey will not treat at that level and will only be 100% curative for a small number of cases
