Here is another instance where the Affordable Care Act is talking out of two sides of its mouth. It wants price controls, it wants to cut physician’s fees, but for States that are expanding their Medicaid program to accommodate uninsured citizens, physician reimbursement may not be adequate to provide the promised care.
Very well written.

The article is poorly written and full of misinformation. I am one of those people who do not have a savings account because they have such poor returns and is a bad place to put money, but I have a couple of personal checking accounts and substantial investments. My debit card does not charge me for usage but exactly the opposite - I get cash back every time I use it so I want to use it.
My company had a special meeting with all of our employees about having our company insurance comply with the Affordable Care Act and the end result is that we, as employees, will be contributing 0 for our health insurance and have a 0 deductible.
People can write articles and create worst-case scenarios that will actually never happen. The proof is in the putting. I am ecstatic because now that I won't have to contribute anything for my health care it frees up an extra couple hundred dollars a month for additional investing. Not half bad, in my opinion.

But I absolutely agree with you. I don't have too much to worry about, as I'm going to start Medicare in September. That will relieve me from paying at least $300 per month. My current $5000 deductible costs me $400 per month. I understand that Medicare will cost me about $100. I will get a Humana One Advantage HMO for $0 per month to have them manage it for me with better advantage than just Medicare. Anyway, there are options.

I agree that there are a few problems, but I'm confident that things will work out. The problem is that the insurance companies wrote that Act, so some bad things will be blamed on the administration instead of the benefits to the insurance companies. I always say, "follow the money"; but that is difficult at times.
