I don't do walmart - can't stand the place. Daughter purchased an air mattress for her move to Texas - never opened. Made it's way to Midland and back home. They were NOT going to allow the return since it was a mattress.
Needed to get FOUR (4) other "managers" to help, when my daughter noticed their return policy on THE WALL
BEHIND THEM--that claimed within 21 days and unopened...it was allowed. It was NOT opened. She had the receipt and it was within the 21 days. Took over 20 minutes for this to happen.
Anyhoo, back to the subject: I feel they (Walmart) are aware
of the many violations to human rights these countries force upon their workers. Doesn't make it right even if walmart were TO GIVE the items away for FREE.
People died. I learned of the injustices way back with the Kathy Lee Gifford clothing line. Walmart HAD to at some point LOOK at the factory??
Blood is on their hands as well, imo. It's an atrocity - as long as I am aware of it - I CANNOT patronize these TRILLION dollar companies.
I also will NOT purchase Chocolate that is made thru slave labor of children.
For in my opinion, I am just shrugging my shoulders and saying "well, it isn't MY problem or MY fault." When actually I would be AGREEING to the hell these people are put thru to make money to live.
Just like China. Nope. Cannot. In good conscience.
