Default Incontinent at age 24

What is wrong with me?!

For the past year or so I have experienced extreme urgency to the point where I will be unable to control my bladder and I dribble (sorry if TMI!). Sometimes it helps to sit down or kneel, but the sensation of needing to go so bad that it hurts does not stop until I do go. Sometimes I get this sensation after drinking a few sips of water a couple minutes later, and, sometimes only pee a tiny bit which seems strange when I have such a bad urgency. This mostly happens if I consume moderate amounts of fluid but is especially severe when I drink caffeine or alcohol. Even several days after I consume caffeine or alcohol I will continue to have the HORRIBLE urgency that leads to incontinence. I can stop drinking coffee, tea and alcohol but I cannot stop drinking water. My symptoms may lessen if I cut out certain things, but it won't go away and I will also live miserably with mild incontinence and be sad that I can't have any of my favorite drinks or be able to stay awake at work.

Perhaps there is a build up of toxins in my liver/kidneys? I take milk thistle and Fo-ti, but it is still pretty bad. Also, not sure if this may be related, but in the past I have had a very bad kidney infection as a result of an untreated UTI. Also, I was heavily into drinking for about the last 2 years. I am drinking much less now. I was afraid of cirrhosis, but I don't imagine I have it because incontinence/urgency is the only symptom I have. I hate this! What can I do?

If you have any information, please help! Thank you!

Blue32 , you really should seek professional help from a doctor or urologist who could run tests to find what is wrong with you, we cannot diagnose you ,only guess

I surely would stay away from a uriologist at this point. They will do more damage then they can help at this point. They should be your absolute last restort.

Beware of people who do not understand the potential of natural medicine and who offer recommendations counter to that.

I had a friend who developed incontency so bad that she had to wear a catheter. The cure for here was several visits to a Chiropractor. Adjustment of the lower spine fixed it in short order. There was pressure on the related nerves, that when once released cured her situation. Medical doctors could only offer a catheter which brings high risk for lots of other problems. She had been on a catheter for several years before she discovered chiropractic.

Many cases of urinary incontencey has been cured by people who use mms. MMS can kill the pathogens that medical doctors cant find or diagnose. I think many if not most cases of incontence are caused by pathogens. go here to learn about mms www.genesis2church.org

Some cases of incontence is caused by changes in the structure of the tissues of the lower abdomen or pelvic area. Kegal exercise does help some women. Sometimes surgery is requried to lift organs that are causing pressure that causes the problem. This should be a last resort plan after all else has failed. Such surgeries are with risk.

Urinary incontence is often cured by homeoapthy. I experienced this myself after the birth of one of my children that brought with the new bundle also stress incontence. It cured it in just a couple of days after many many months of problems. You would need to visit a well trained homeoapth.

Iodine, specifically Lugol's iodine has cured some cases, and again this would be related to the idea that a microbe is causing the problem. If you choose this path try lugols loading dose procedure for about one month.

Certain drinks and herbs are diuretics, and may cause dehydration/excessive urination. I'd stop any coffee or alcohol for sure, and check the supplements you're using to see if they're diuretics. Stop taking those things for awhile.

If you're a woman, be sure to empty your bladder each time you urinate. After you think you're done, stand, twist from one side to the other, sit down again and lean forward...then make sure you squeeze out any remaining drops.

I would take these actions first, and give it a a few weeks to see improvement. Maybe it's something simple that can be addressed with nutritional intake and habits, good luck. If there are no improvements, then I agree with Audi, you should get checked out as there may be a more serious issue.

The fact that you had a 'very bad kidney infection' could be related. Is there a chance you may have another UTI now? Or have you ever had problems with kidney stones? Another thing I would eliminate is the possibility of having diabetes. All of these issues, along with kidney disease, can cause incontinence.

you will be interested in reading these testimonials.
I have read a number of testimonials regarding mms and kidney issues, even kidney failure where mms resolved the situation and even prevented the need for dialysis.
http://genesis2church.org/uti-urinar...infection.html
http://genesis2church.org/kidney-problem.html
and here is one that includes a UTI
http://www.healthsalon.org/434/mms-testimonial/

For me with Kidney issues and UTI, mms would be my treatment of choice. Positive results will come in just a couple of days.

For all infections, keep the protocol up for 3 days past all symptoms being gone to be sure that is it gone. With kidney issues infection or microbes can hide in all those little tubules, you want to get them all.

and this woman used mms for a uti and reports on our forum

That sounds like an infection to me.

I think it is an infection too. But it may not be a type of infection that physicians can diagnose. This is why MMS so often cures chronic urinary incontency. The doctor says you don't have an infection because their test cant find it so they tell you, so sorry, You have chroni incontinence, cause unknown, tough luck. Learn to live with it. Here, try these pads, when what is needed is the correct antiseptic.

Cranberry juice, pure and unsweetened, will help if it's a UTI. Concentrated juice from a health store is even better.

I have yet to hear that cranberry juice will cure, but only palliate for most which means that you are into it forever. Mannose D also will palliate but not cure, and is reported more effective than cranberry juice, which again means that you are taking it long term and subject to infection again if you stop taking it.
At this early stage of the game I suggest that you aim for a cure, not a palliation.

Ive had a lot of issues with UTI over the years. Above and beyond all else homepathy cures long term. It cured stress incontinence after my second child which did not come back for 20 years. It cured UTI which did not return for many years. I have also found lugols iodine curative in one case I had where I couldnt find a homeopathic remedy that worked at the same time I self treated cancer. It cured in one week of mega dosages, and it also go rid of thyroid cysts at the same time. MMS got rid of stress incontency that I developed when I let myself get quite run down for a little while. It worked practically over night, that was 4 years ago with no repeat.

I dont know why I have repeated problems over the years but certainly some of it was related to the stress of childbirth. My mom and grandmother also had stress incontence. But I certainly know how to get rid of it when it comes, infection as well. I will never take another antibiotic for these issues. MMS, homeopathy or lugols iodine is the answer for incontence or UTI. My first choice is always homeopathy, MMS second but it may be first choice for others who cannot cope with understanding homeopathy. Lugols is the last choice becasue it tastes nasty. It actually cured a stuation that I had when i was working on cancer that felt like and seems like intersititial cystitis with extreme bladder and pelvic inflammation.. I thought it would drive me insane. Its really horrible but fortunately I only had the issue for about three weeks before I figured out how to treat it. Its as bad and much worse that infection and I had a clear uranalysis so it was not any common infection that they know how to diagnose. I just dont know how people put up with it without commiting suicide... They end up on a lot of psych drugs to calm them down as it is extremely agitating is what happens often. All the cures I have used indicate that all these conditions are most likely caused by a microbe.

Know the cause by its cure.

Thank you all so much for your responses!

I have never had kidney stones. I don't have a UTI right now but I suppose I cannot rule out a microbe. Is it possible to have a microbe for this long (1+ yrs.) and not have had it progress to a more serious condition? What if you do MMS therapy and do not actually have a pathogen/microbe?

If you did mms and your situation did not resolve it likely is not a microbe problem considering that you did the mms protocol fully. My approach would then be to consult with a classical homeoapth. If that did not resolve the issue after a few months of treatment The next thing I would consider is a nerve inervation issue, and for that chiropractic might help and I'd throw in some yoga too to keep the lower spine flexible and the nerves free. Another approach might be acupuncture.

With mms some people have reported long term incontence resolved with mms. No mention of UTI was mentioned. Remember, the primary function of mms is antimicrobial.

Blue32, I also seen that you were posting about digestive problems. I think they may be linked with your incontinence problem. The bladder and guts are close to each other and if you have inflammation or say a growth in your guts, it could be causing pressure on your bladder. I am dealing with similar issues, this is all my theory at the moment. There seems to be a lot of incidents of people having both IBS and IC or similar conditions coexisting.
