I've never taken borax internally, but here is some information;

http://www.earthclinic.com/Remedies/borax.html

Doesn't look like they're recommending it either.

This guy claims to take borax internally;

Quote:
You only need to add a small pinch of Borax to a glass of water to defluoridate the water. Then, the Borax will enter your blood stream, and it will remove fluoride build-up in the pineal gland allowing you to dream more vividly. I have more vivid dreams now, and my sleep patterns have become more consistent. Here is one of my sources regarding Borax: http://www.earthclinic.com/CURES/flu...questions.html

Use iodine to remove flouride in the pineal gland not borax.
Iodine will provide over all health benefits on many levels.

Are you sure you didnt mean baking soda (sodium bicarbonate)?

I would not trust drinking anything from Dial.

http://www.celluliteinvestigation.co...ith-boron.html has some info

http://www.earthclinic.com/CURES/fluoride.html has this:
3) Reverse Osmosis - does remove fluoride from water. Additionally, as others here have mentioned, food grade sodium tetraborate (borax) has been shown in clinical trials to induce chelation of fluoride compounds from the body via the urine.
Food Grade?? Really? There is a food grade borax?

I used to take twenty mule team borax daily for many months, 1/4 teaspoon to a liter of water. Now, I just take it occasionally. There is a lot of good info in that article that kind2creatures reminded us about. http://www.natmedtalk.com/showthread.php?t=21924

Also good info on the use of borax and fluoride detox at http://www.naturalnews.com/026605_fl...#ixzz1N0Zte9RC
