I have tried Chinese medicine but not for candida. If you can locate a local practioner and get an analysis and recommendation. I would look for a herb shop with a doctor on staff who was certified in China.

Hi, Kal el! I have mostly used Ayurvedic medicine for improved energy. However, I went with a friend to a Chinese herb shop in Honolulu's Chinatown. The practioner there was Chinese, spoke little English, was about 70. He did pulse diagnosis for my friend and knew he had pain in his left knee. I was familiar with pulse diagnosis from Ayurveda, it can be very accurate. The doctor gave my friend a custom prescription of whole herbs pulled from small boxes behind the counter...these had to be boiled at home and the tea it made drunk. It healed my friend's problem. On the way out, I asked if there was an over the counter suggestion for me (as I had no health problems). He suggested Xiao yao wan, or "wandering at ease." I found this very enjoyable and relaxing to take. It frees up energy in the body. You can find it at any Chinese herb shop for a few dollars.
