I have just poured a few drops on to a dark blue silk blouse (it's OK - it was thrown out and is now part of a cat grooming kit)
The patch is still wet - no colour chamge so far. I suppose another ten minutes will decide for us!
What is the pH of the solution you have?
I already destroyed a lot of cloths with this MMS. Have a sort of tick that everytime after I poured in some of the MMS liquid in the glass that I wipe my finger (that came in contact with the bottle opening) on my trousers. And a few of my trousers look really discollered now.

There was no colour change, no bleaching when the material was dry.
Koel, this is a puzzle. Did you wipe your fingers on the trousers after you had added an acid? I think I shall go and try it that way now. We must get the answer to this!
I mixed 6 drops of MMS with half teaspoon of lemon juice. Now, there is a bleaching effect and also a slight hint of yellow colouring, presumably from the lemon juice. There is also a strong smell of bleaach.
So the MMS needs the addition of acid, just as Jim Humble says!
Koel, I wonder if the laundry process leaves a hint of something acid on your trousers, so that the MMS is activated by an acid already present?
Well I just made a delibirate test to see if my MMS bleaches on cloths or not. So without activator I just smeared a drop over my blue jogging trousers, after a while the blue dissapeared and became light golden brown.
The next thing is to make sure the tests were all on the same kind of fabric. Suppose I dig out the old jeans and try that? One patch of MMS, another with activated MMS.
Koel, what fabric are your trousers - is it 100% cotton?
I think Arrow mentioned jeans being bleached.
I got my MMS from Arrow, so I don't have any doubts about its authenticity.
Scorp - what pH is your alleged MMS?
Both patches are dry now. I see a slight darkening of the area where I put the activated MMS and no change in the area of inactive MMS.
Sorry, no bleaching effect on these cotton jeans.
Maybe after they are washed?
I will put these jeans and the silk shirt in the washing machine now and report again tomorrow!
I enjoy these kitchen chemistry tests.
I wet one cuff of blue cotton denim with pure MMS and the other cuff with activated MMS. Still wet with no sign of bleaching. Bought my product from the guy in Manitoba that Jim Humble recommended.
