Default swollen lymph node

Ok i woke up this morning, did something for like an hour and went back to bed, woke up 5 hours later and my right lymph node on the neck is really swollen,it dont hurt when i swallow...it hurts if i touch it,even minimal pressure applied to it makes it hurt, what is this? should i be worried? maybe its connected to tongue thrush ive been having for so long now?

Don't know what it is about. Are you getting a sore throat?

I would take some iodine and put it on it. Make it nice and dark red with iodine.

No see thats the weird part,no sore throat no pain in ears no flu no fever no nothing, only swollen lymph node on the right of my neck, and it hurts when pressure is applied or when i bend my head on the right...

and when i woke up and went to the bathroom seriousley i could see the node move as my heart was beating, you know what i mean every time my heart would make a beat, the node would kinda move...

my mom told me about going to the emergency,a friend told me to take a pill,im thinking of calling it a day and let time do its part, and whatever happens happens,i mean the pills would only give me a side effect, the doctors would just spuke a bunch of shit in my ears...

so i wait and it either goes down,or i end up in the hospital...hooraay children :/

I do not consider a swollen lymph node significant enough to go to the hospital for.
They would only give you antibiotics anyway which is the very last thing you need, or just send you home and tell you to wait and see what happens.

Put the iodine on it, as it will locally address infection without disrupting your total physiology. Then wait and see. Inflammation in nodes is usually due to stress in detoxing.. The node cant keep up with the amount of toxins it is processing. Lymphocytes increase and cause swelling. Put iodine on it.

I had a swollen node in my armpit recently. I used castor oil and iodine topically. Now gone.

Could just mean you had a cold or a flu or one is coming. Give it a week.

Oh, and my son had a string of swollen nodes at the back of his neck after the chicken pox. They stayed for over a month after the pox was gone. All just part of the detoxing process.

ok this is the one i used actually, its not a mouthwash, this is another one i have from when i needed it for something else...

i think this is exactly what i needed...look at the description on the link

is used for the one-time or frequent (temporary) desinfection of intact, healthy outside skin.

i just put it on the node on the outside on the healthy skin,undiluted...how long should i keep it there though?

Leave it on. It will take time for it to absorb. Providine iodine is an inferior product... but is good for some things. Its the same stuff that they use for surgical scrubing before surgery.

I suggest that you get a bottle of Lugol's iodine to keep on hand. It is invaluable stuff if you know how to use it. We have lots of threads about it on the forum. It is known for curing fungus, psoriasis and some skin cancers, including melanoma.

I know I'm a month late here, but you can also massage the lymph node to get the stagnant stuff out and the lymph fluid flowing again. It may hurt a little but you'll feel it releasing and then the backed up fluid will drain down your throat. You can do it yourself, just press on the swollen node and massage it.

I do it all the time because the lymph nodes in my neck are always messed up with having CFS.

It's also good to have regular massages coz there's lymph nodes all over the body.
