Does anyone know if there would be any interactions between DMSO and Colloidal Silver when mixing them together for a topical application. I tried it once last night and had good results. I could only find two references to this. One of a person who said he has done it, and one of a person advising against it as he thought it would mix and create a substance other then colloidal silver going in to your blood. Now I am worried.
I would like to keep doing it, but not if it is causing harm to my body in other ways. Anyone else experiment with this or have any input?
This is the subject that made me join up today as I want to assure you the 2 products together (in big doses too) worked brilliantly for me, and still do whenever I need to combine for either internal or extenal uses.
I have no fear of either DMSO or Silver water. They are both good & what I discovered was ,the DMSO got the CS to where it needed to go to get me well again. I had pneumonia 18months ago and was declining fast. After a swift drink of the 2 products combined in a large glass of water, I went from feeling at "deaths door" to "bright eyed and bushy tailed" in less than 30minutes. It was like a miracle !
Several more combined doses over following 2 days ensued I did not relapse. Both products are in my meds cabinet and are regularly the 1st line of defence or repair in my world.
How long have I been using these products ? DMSO for at least 9years and Colloidal Silver for over 15years. Only downfall of combining for internal treatment? Giving off a strong garlicky sulphur body odour....
Don't be scared, they are both brilliant products either on their own or together, either topically or internally.
Anyone that has made or knows anything about making colloidal silver please give me some advise. I built my silver generator yesterday and could not produce any silver water after letting it run 12 hours. I am using 10guage .99997 pure silver wire electodes about 6" long. I have them in about 3 liter glass jar of distilled water. My power source is an ac to dc wall adapter output 5V 400mA. I also have a little aquarium air bubbler hose down to the bottom, blowing bubbles up inbetween the silver electrodes. After 12 hours, one of the elctrodes had some oxidization visible on it. My TDS meter read 0-1PPM when I started, and 0-1PPM after 12 hours, and the Tyndall effect was not changed. My electrodes are approx 3.75" apart. I am thinking maybe they are to far apart, or maybe my voltage is to low for the amount of water I have in the jar. Any help, suggestions, or insight is appreciated.
PS My TDS meter does work, I have tested it on other waters and it has been acuruate with in 1 PPM.
I realize this is an old thread but I am new to this forum and have vast experience with producing quality colloidal silver. First of all, use a 9 Volt power source, not 5 volts. You also need the electrodes to be about 1" away from each other. The problem you are experiencing is due to a lack of conductivity, which is due to low voltage and too much space between the electrodes. Also, make sure your output current is DC, not AC. Since you're using a transformer it probably is DC. Just be sure.
Other metals help the body get rid of each other. For example zinc, a metal, helps the body get rid of arsenic, cadmium, mercury, and lead (all metals). Fiber gets rid of metals too. Silver is no exception. The body produces peroxide which reacts with silver and other metals, then they flush via the urine or colon. When you take colloidal silver, you are probably taking only 10 to 20 parts per million. That's not enough to be concerned. Most of that will be flushed through the liver on on through the digestive system.
There is a problem when the manufacturing process is not followed properly. Agyria is a common problem with using a straight batch of colloidal silver, often the skin is not really blue, it is closer to gray color. The problem occurs when a free silver ions react with the sulfur in your body to from AgS, or silver sulfide. Most colloidal silver produced are actually either a nonreactive Ag or a reactive Ag with a charge, then it reacts with the body's available sulfur to cause a "blue skin", more more accurately is "gray skin". If you are even worried, you could add a couple drops of hydrogen peroxide to your colloidal silver batch. The peroxide, reacts with the FREE silver ions to form Silver Oxide. Some say that silver oxide is more potent against bacteria that the original colloidal batch.

there has been a lot written on the benefits of colloidal silver but what concerns me and has not been addressed as far as I know is that silver being a metal will accumulate in the body
I don't see that as being a good thing since the long term side affects are unknown
The key is the type of silver produced, the size of the silver particles, and finally the amount injested.
The "blue" man admitted to adding salt to his silver solution to speed up conductivity, thus the batch was made in a much shorter time.
When salt is added to the silver solution, the result is silver chloride, not colloidal silver. Silver chloride particles are much bigger than colloidal or ionic silver particles, and thus can't easily get into the cells. This, together with injesting about a quart per day for years, is why he turned bluish-grey.
Properly made colloidal/ionic silver contains very tiny particles of silver, which allows them easy access to cells, and any excess is easily eliminated from the body.
Taking 4 to 6 ounces per day of 10-20ppm silver would never cause agyria, and as far as long term effects go, lots of people (including myself) have been injesting colloidal/ionic silver for many years, and my skin is completely normal in color.(and healthy)
The only side effect that I've noticed is that I haven't had a cold or flu for several years... and counting..
if metals help rid the body of metals, would that be free circulating metals or would that apply to stored metal ( ferritin) , I'm asking because I want to use colloidal silver for an infected tooth, which is going to be pulled soon, as the infection is in the bone, but I have high ferritin, so my body stores metal and I don't want to be adding fuel to the fire
I wasn't worried about turning blue though, I figured that guy had to be doing something out of the ordinary otherwise there would be a lot of blue people around
There are so many things that chelate metals Audi. IP6 is well known for chelating iron. So well that you have to be careful. It will chelate other metals too. But it has an affinity with iron. Then there are herbs, such as cilantro. Anyway colloidal silver is made at such a small amount that you should not have to worry. A small amount is very helpful though. Very powerful. We are talking about parts per million (PPM). You take in far more than that of other metals daily. Like zinc and magnesium. Some metals are good to store. Iodine is good.
If I were in that situation, I would be sure to use 3% hydrogen peroxide for mouthwash each time I brushed. I, of course, would not want to kill all the bacteria in the mouth, as some are very beneficial. Infection in the bone? That's difficult.
thanks for the info jfh, I feel better about colloidal silver now
I'm planning on using it after the tooth comes out , am presently using hydrogen peroxide and with the two combined hopefully it will stop the infection
I have some IP6 it has added calcium , magnesium and Inositol will tackle the ferritin after I get over this infection
could you mix dmso and colloidal water in the same bottle?
I am a big proponent of DMSO. I think it is a winning formula to use high quality ionic colloidal silver and DMSO.
DMSO has been proven to enhance the antibiotic qualities of the silver as well as many other benefits like getting more of the silver into the body. But you have to clean the skin very well because it will drag anything else on the skin into the body.
So I have been until now always spraying colloidal silver first to clean the skin then applying DMSO, for a winning combination. I have two little spray bottles.
I was wondering would they work together in the same bottle? I got the idea from someone adding lavender etc to the colloidal silver. You could even still add nice scented essential oils as well for a very unique product. I bet it has never been done before, what do you think?
