The nutritional value of the food we eat depends entirely upon the richness - or otherwise - of the soil in which it was grown.

This article refers to Britain, but it could just as readily refer to America, Canada and pretty much anywhere else on the planet.

I am the only greek american who has never been to greece. I hear from everyone else that the food there tastes much better because of the soil. You can buy greek products in the states and they are way better than most of the US versions.
