Heart Stint, Why Not Nasal Stints?

If they can put a stint inside your chest to keep your artery open...why can't they put a simple stint inside your fleshy nasal passage that always closes on people with bad allergies?

How many people are addicted to Afrin, like myself?
Or how many people have bad allergies and can't breathe well at night?

Its all cause by a tiny fleshy nasal passage that closes because it gets inflammed....
it has nothing to do with too much mucus or being too stuffed up.....

Perhaps doctors or someone could develop a stint to stick up that nasal passage and keep it open.

there could be a reason why your body shuts off the nasal passage....
and perhaps leaving it open all the time with a nasal stint could expose you to something....

or perhaps not....
perhaps leaving it open all the time could just provide you with sweet relief.

They aren't stints, they are stents, and they are useless.

Stents and bypass surgery don't prevent heart attacks nor do they extend life. That is a myth and has always been a myth.

First they used "baloons" but these would close back up again a short time later, so they used metal stents instead. These stents too would close up and become infected, so instead of getting rid of this technique, they medicated the stents... some with chemo agents, to prevent cells from sticking to them... but these failed as well because the chemo medication ended up in the heart where it caused all kinds of problems.

There is a reason why some people have severe allergies. The best way to treat them is to correct the cause, not by puting stents in the nose. The immune system would see them as invaders, and would enclose them in cacoons.

They do have a nasal stent of a sort, its called a nasal trumpet, get one if you like
But it will not fix the disease that you have in your nose.

dang it...that's horrible news....
i looked up the nasal trumpet...that did not look good...its huge...

its just a tiny piece of tissue in the nasal cavity that inflames and closes off....

we just need something to open it...

so far...afrin is the only thing that works to do that....

i don't like taking afrin...but I do love to breathe out of my nose....

it sure is nice....

Try pseudephedrine instead. 60mg or the 120mg that is time release. You could have a surgery.

I've tried pseudephedrine.....i hate how it makes me feel....
and it doesn't provide the open easy breathing relief that afrin does....

as of right now....money wise and me being a chicken....
I'd rather afrin over surgery.....
