Thumbs up Ice Creams containing rBGH hormone!

I'm not sure if I read this on Care2 or on Mercola, but Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream
was said to be the ONLY Ice Cream of the popular national brands that does
NOT contain rBGH hormone. Haagen Dass, Breyers, and Baskin-Robbins all
do contain it even thought they advertise they're ALL NATURAL.

Good thing I only eat that trash once or twice a year. No Ben and Jerry's in our neck of the woods.

My neighbors are making homemade goats milk ice cream... now that stuff is pure!

Thanks EarlyBird for the heads-up. I kinda figured to expect things like bovine growth hormone in any ice cream that wasn't organic. I've got a container of Breyers Strawberry in my freezer right now. Surprised Ben&Jerry's made the grade, they have so much additional stuff on their ingredients label.

The big no-no ingredient used in commercial ice cream these days is HYDROGENATED PALM OIL. If you wanted to take something to deliberately clog up your arteries at a rapid rate of knots, this is what you would take.

Its also used in cheap chocolate products, and for all those who manage to avoid ice cream and chocolate, its also used in commercial cattle feed now and we end up getting a big dose of the stuff with our meat unless you buy organic.
