Default Passion Flower

I was wondering if someone who has tried Passion Flower could share their experience ? Is it similar to Kava at all ?

I have tried Kava, Valerian and Lemon Balm for anxiety/sleep issues. Kava works the best for me in terms of helping me with anxiety, positive outlook and no grogginess the next day. However, I don't want to take it long term because of it's potential danger to liver. Valerian helps a bit with anxiety and sleep but I feel groggy the next day. Lemon balm makes me really groggy and doesn't help with anxiety at all.

Passion Flower in a homeopathic preparation has been used for a long time for sleep. Some people really like it. I tried it and it seemed like when I used it my sleep was a very light sleep, never getting into the deep stages.

On the rare occurances when I cannot sleep I use homeopathic Coffea in 30c potency. It works well.

Other things you might try is homeoapthic Calms Forte found in most health food stores for relaxation. My kids use to get so wound up they could not sleep and Calms did the trick.

Another very good product is called Neuerxan that is specifically for sleep http://www.iherb.com/Search?kw=neuerxan

Then there is neuro-heel for depressed mood, exhaustion and insomnia.

This remedy is good for anxiety

and this remedy also: Ypsiloheel.
One night my son was having an exitencial breakdown after he graduated from highschool... the stress of it all. It pulled him right out of it.
Don't go by what this page says about it. Im using my Heel Prescribers manual to select these remedies

The best thing to do is to take these remedies as stated on the bottle daily for a couple months. Use the Neuroxan only when sleep is needed. You may have to repeat it in 30 minutes if sleep does not come

You may not need all of these but two or three at least.

I don't get what your saying. It has a long history of use for anxiety and sleep. Its name refers to the passion of chirst, an old catholic thing.
