Default vitamin D3

Hello Everyone! I am new to this site and I know vitamin D3 has been discussed but I haven't found the answer to my problem. I take a calcium channel blocker for heart rhythm and high blood pressure. My level of vitamin D tested at 19 so my doctor prescribed a vitamin D supplement. After a few days, my blood pressure starting going up and I had misses in my heart beat. So vitamin D appears to interfere with the calcium channel blocker. So what other ways can I correct this deficiency? I eat a balanced diet and get outside every day but after 6 months, the level is only up to 23. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help.

I simply can't believe that vitamin D would cause what you said. In fact it is impossible. More than likely it is some other medication that you are taking.
You must realize that taking medications put you on a downward spiral healthwise.

You should do a tan bed 3X per week for a couple weeks. Do not do it to tan though, first 2 times 5 minutes and then 10 minutes (in a 20 minute bed).

I'm surprised your doctor prescribed Vitamin D with a calcium channel blocker. This drug works by reducing calcium going into the heart and as the heart has vitamin D receptors, any increase in vitamin D will disrupt the effect of reducing heart calcium and cause arrythmia.

If you want to increase your Vitamin D levels you will have to get your doctor to change your BP medication to another BP drug such as an ACE inhibitor or beta blocker, as well as an anti-arrythmic drug before supplementing with Vitamin D, or try lowering your blood pressure by a natural supplements such as CoQ10 and magnesium for arrythmia.

This should only be done in conjunction with your doctor who can monitor your condition on an ongoing basis.

The active type of CoQ10 Ubiquinol is the most bioavailable and effective.
It can take 4/6 weeks before there is any lowering of BP.
