Liver transplant

I have a friend who had a liver transplant in 1990, and is on an immunedepressant drug for that condition. Is there a risk for him to take MMS since it boosts your natural immune system? He will check with his Doctor, but he doesn't think his mainstream Dr. would know anything about this...so I'm looking for info. on this forum, thanks

I dont think that anyone really knows the absolute answer to this question. MMS definately makes the white blood cells look healthier for people who have had dark field microscopy live blood analysis done.

Wether that is a boost to the immune system that would be contra-indicated in a liver transplant case who could say?

My best advice to you would be for your friend to connect up with a naturopathic medical doctor and see if there is anything that they can recommend to help keep him healthy while on these drugs. The first thing I can think of is to make sure his vitamin D3 is in a normal range and this can be determined by a blood test.

I think those drugs target very specific immune functions. It would be good to know what those are and make sure that what you are boosting immune wise leaves that part alone.

I don't know if Jim Humble has an answer to this question, He might. It is a question that has come up several times before.
