Default How to get a photographic memory?

How does one acquire an eidetic memory? Is it simply by trying to think in pictures, and making silly associations with what one is trying to remember? If not, how does one acquire a truly eidetic memory?

Isn't that genetic? I did not think that it can be acquired.

Have you researched Memory Palace. It's an old practice. https://www.google.com/search?q=memory+palace It requires practice and patience. I'm too stupid for it, but it seems to work for very many people.

On second thought, I don't even know what I would use mental photography for. If I had a PhD, or if I were working on getting one, I could see the use. But I don't even have a bachelor's degree. Having a noneidetic memory works just fine for undergraduate work. I'm thinking about going back to school to work on that.

Read Harry Lorayne's How to Develop a Super Power Memory book. Your study time in undergrad will be cut by 80%. He can teach you how to train your memory and increase it by 90%.
