Question Liquid Probiotics and Fish Oil

For the first time, I just bought some Now brand liquid Omega 3 Fish Oil (lemon). I've been having trouble swallowing the larger softgels. Pleasantly surprised with the taste, not fishy at all!

I also picked up some liquid Acidophilus Probiotics. Is there any reason not to take both of these supplements at the same time? Can the liquid fish oil smother or absorb the beneficial bacteria in a bad way? Thanks.

As far as I know, no...What are the liquid probiotics? I've only heard of the powder, the pill (which is a capsule containing the powder) and the ones in yogurt.

I did an experiment at school several years ago, putting the powder form in a suitable environment for growth. I tried several times and nothing ever grew. I talked to some pharmacists and biologists and explained the experiment. They all told me that, if the bacteria were really alive in the powder, they would have grown. Even though this is only one experiment, it still makes me leery to consume the powder. I always do yogurt.

The brand is American Health. It's a liquid, drinkable supplement that provides a Probiotic blend which contains (per serving) over 20 billion organisms guaranteed of active Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus bulgaricus, and Lactobacillus thermophilus. It tastes like a thinner, more tart Keifer.
