Top post! That piece about iodine is intriguing I must say. Jane Plant picked up on that in her book, but this site takes it much further.

At BreastCancerChoices they say this:

  • Depending upon the results of your screening iodine-loading
    test, most doctors we are familiar with currently recommend 50 mg or more of
    iodine daily in the form of Iodoral tablets (a combined iodine-iodide formula), but
    others recommend an iodine-only formulation or Lugol's iodine solution.


50 mg. of iodine.

50 mg? That seems a lot! European RDA is 150 mcg...

It's 150mcg in the US as well. Ridiculously low. Average Japanese diet is 12MG per day, and that is for all of them. The ill, children, adults, pregnant women, --- all.
