Smile Morning Eyes

First let me say that I wear contacts daily. I do not know if that information will affect anything that I'm about to say. In the morning when I first open my eyes, my right eye doesn't respond to light like it does for the other one. My right eyes appears to see much darker causing a black spot to appear in my vision. My right eye, and sometimes my left, seem dry on some mornings. I seem to not see as well out my right eye. I often have trouble focusing on a subject. If I were to look up from a book or a phone to see in the distance, it would take me a couple seconds to adjust.

I don't know if what I'm saying is too brief, but I'm concerned about my right eye and not being able to adjust to light in the morning.

It could be an early sign of macular degeneration. Then again it could just be eyestrain.
Do you watch a lot of television? Watching television in the dark can contribute to eyestrain. Keeping the light on will help.
Do you spend a long time on the computer? Look away from the screen every now and again, and focus on something else. And the same thing with the light (reduces the glare)
In terms of nutrition; blueberries and bilberries are excellent for eye health (see the earlier thread on this, in this section) and the European herbal remedy for MD, marigold, is to be recommended.

in the morning my vision is generally very foggy, and i cannot focus very well if at all. i drink some water and it's ok. i start with a few gulps, then wait till that absorbs, then drink some more, then chug some more. i generally have to do this process of easing into how much water i can drink at one time in the morning or else my stomache feels very strange. after about a quart (4 cups) or so, i feel great, can see great, and have to take a pee. this, combined with several carrots (and a nice BM(crap)) and i feel like a million bucks

dunno if the issue is similar, but i hope that helps

Take 3 gms of goji berry (wolfberry). Soak it in a glass of hot water. Drink 2 glasses daily. Eat the berries if you want to. It should improve blood circulation to your eyes and improve your eyesights.

Could you possibly have the beginnings of a cataract?
