Closed Some Long Threads

Long threads on this board have become a target of spammers, when a spam post is added to a long thread, participants of this thread will be notified by email, as a result, this forum helps sending the spams. There is no way to prevent this kind of spams, no matter how fast I catch and delete the spam post, the notification emails have been sent out.

For the above reasons, I have closed two huge threads. If you think it's necessary to reply to them, such as ' The Cure Has Arrived - MMS', you can start a new thread with the title ' The Cure Has Arrived - MMS - part 2'.

Kevin, is it possible to put new members on a moderated status, where their messages aren't posted until approved? Then maybe after a certain number of posts, when they've proven not to be spammers, they can go to un-moderated?

New members may not like it. There are only two long threads (over 10 pages), it isn't worth the trouble to moderated all new members' posts just for two threads.
