I'm looking for a source of ma huang stems (not pills). I've looked at a few sites (Kada's Garden, formosa herbals and some others) but i'm not comfortable ordering from them without some confirmation that they're legit and ship safely to North America.

Anyone order these stems online before? What websites did you use and how was the experience/shipping costs? I'm in Canada which I believe has similar laws to the US regarding ma huang legality and plant imports. To the best of my knowledge, it's legal as long as it isn't sold as ephedrine or something. If anyone could clear the legality up, that'd be nice too.

Also, if there is a decent US only dealer i don't mind making a trip down and picking it up there.

Just looking for some way to get a decent supply of this (apart from the NYC china town herbal shop I first found them in which is too far to drive very often).
